How to Connect to Your VPS via RDP (Windows)

Prerequisites

• Your VPS IP address (found in your dashboard under My Services)

• Your VPS username and password (emailed to you after purchase)

• Windows Remote Desktop Connection (built into all Windows versions)

Step 1: Open Remote Desktop Connection

Press Win + R, type mstsc, and press Enter.

Step 2: Enter Your Server Details

1. In the "Computer" field, enter your VPS IP address

2. Click "Connect"

Step 3: Enter Your Credentials

1. Enter your username (default: Administrator)

2. Enter your password from your welcome email

3. Click "OK"

Step 4: Accept the Certificate

If prompted about a certificate, click "Yes" to proceed.

Troubleshooting

• Connection refused: Make sure your VPS is in Active status in your dashboard

• Wrong credentials: Check your welcome email for the correct credentials

• Timeout: Your VPS may be restarting. Wait 2-3 minutes and try again
