Why Run MetaTrader on a VPS?

Running MetaTrader on a VPS ensures your Expert Advisors (EAs) run 24/7 without interruption, even when your home computer is off.

Step 1: Connect to Your VPS

Follow our RDP connection guide first.

Step 2: Download MetaTrader

1. Open Internet Explorer or Edge on your VPS

2. Go to your broker's website to download MT4 or MT5

3. Alternatively, download from MetaTrader's official site

Step 3: Install MetaTrader

1. Run the downloaded installer

2. Follow the installation wizard

3. Launch MetaTrader after installation

Step 4: Login to Your Broker Account

1. In MetaTrader, go to File > Login to Trade Account

2. Enter your broker account number and password

3. Select your broker's server from the dropdown

Step 5: Add Your EA

1. Copy your EA (.ex4 or .ex5 file) to the VPS

2. Place it in: C:\Program Files\MetaTrader 4\MQL4\Experts\

3. Restart MetaTrader
